The Barrett Care Center is a nursing home in Minnesota that is located in Barrett, MN. We offer many different services such as long-term & short-term stays, transitional care apartments, respite care for ages 18 and older, adult day care, hospice services, IV therapy, tracheotomy care, memory dementia care, and more. The Barrett Care Center provides services to Barrett, Elbow Lake, Fergus Falls, Alexandria, Ashby, Hoffman, Wendell, Herman, Norcross, Grant County, and many more locations.
The Barrett Care Center is a privately owned, skilled nursing facility which is family owned and operated. It was built in 1967 and is licensed to care for residents and operate in conformity with the regulations of the Minnesota Department of Health and Human Services. In 1997, assisted living apartments were added to the care center, and then again in 2005. Applications are available for residency and can be added to our waiting list. The Barrett Care Center is served by a Medical Director, along with other health professionals that include physicians, dentists, pharmacists, diagnostic laboratory, and outpatient services available from Lake Region Hospital, Alomere Health, and Stevens County Medical Center.
The Barrett Care Center offers many services that include nursing, rehabilitation, and social services. We also offer dietary programs to fit every resident’s needs, volunteer programs, and plenty of activities to go around, we’ve got it all! It is a great campus for people to enjoy that includes a covered gazebo for family get togethers, along with a front patio that has raised garden beds where we grow fresh vegetables and flowers.

Here at the Barrett Care Center, we have three in house cats named Sadie, Ginger and Tigger, and one pup that visits daily named Duke! Residents love to seed their furry faces every day! We also love to have other furry visitors here at the Barrett Care Center whether it’s goats, rabbits, kittens, and much more!

Barrett Care Center and Rolling Hills Residence is privately owned, operated, and dedicated wholly to the care of the elderly. Our mission statement is “Families Serving Families.” Our goal is to provide a pleasant, healthy, home-like atmosphere for our guests where they can live feeling secure that their physical, psychological, and spiritual needs will be met. The philosophy is to provide quality care to make the time spent residing here meaningful. Each individual resident has the right to respectful considerate care, and to be treated with dignity and love. It is our goal to provide quality healthcare to our residents, families, and community.
